What a show , i'm just sorry that i didn't hear one of my many favorite Chi-Lites songs , Homely Girl ,,this show brought back many , many very good memories. I wasn't even in my teens yet when Oh Girl and Have You Seen Her came out , but they and you became my favorites , right up until this day. The soul sounds that i heard at this concert are what this boy seeked out all his music loving life. Would definately seek out the Chi-Lites the next time they come close to my city. I drove 1 1/2hrs to see this show and would double or triple that time to see it again. Thanks again for letting us relive our youth and love for this music. Gord and Bonnie Watson

Comments: The Chi-lites used to play at a place called the California Ballroom in Dunstable. I borrowed my friends id to get to see them . So began my love of soul music. The calli was amazing ,it was a melting pot of all colours and creeds. Never any conflict just "One Nation under a Groove" "You got me stoned out of my mind" one of the strongest anti-drug songs of the 70's. Come back and play London Peace Terry

Comments: I attended the show at the Beacon Theater on the 17th of this month and it was the best show I have ever attended. The music took me back to the house parties my parents hosted and my singing in front the mirror. I love real music and the Chi-Lites and all the bands on the 70's Soul Jam are what music is all about and what music should be. I'd like to give a special thanks to my buddy Vince for inviting me...love you guys... and keep on doing what you do cause no one does it better than the Chi-Lites

Comments: I was working at Borgata Casino in AC, New Jersey. Had pleasure of meetng Marshall when he stopped by our vendor table with Tara (and Floyd), looking for the production room. I had just been told the Chi-Lites were at the hotel about 30 minutes before...What a pleasant surprise it was to meet them; Marshall was a perfect gentleman! At the show the next night, the Chi-Lites were AWESOME - a word I don't use often! I think they got the biggest hand of the performers! Marshall allowed me to give him a letter I wrote, expressing some positive thoughts about their great music. NICE MAN!

Comments: Just wanted to say that I attend your shows whenever you are near my area. I was at the Soul Jam at the Tropicana Casino on August 23, 2003 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. You guys are the cleanest act around. You always look good and sound good. Not to take anything away from the rest of the group, but I could watch Robert "Squirrel" Lester forever. He really puts on a show, and I love to hear him sing "Oh Girl". I have sent him a couple of letters to your fan club address, but have never heard back from him, but that's alright. As long as the Chi Lites know that their music only gets better just as they do with time. Continue to share your music with us. Stay well, keep touring and hope to see you guys again soon!
